Multi-Building Asbestos Cement Roof Removal & Disposal 

As part of a wider redevelopment programme at a Scottish whisky distillery, Asbestus was appointed to carry out the removal and compliant disposal of asbestos cement roofing across a number of existing buildings. 

The scope on this project was removal and disposal only, allowing the client to progress with the next stages of its redevelopment using its own construction programme and contractors. 

Working across multiple structures and different building types, the asbestos cement sheets were carefully removed from the existing steel, concrete and timber roof structures and prepared for compliant disposal. 

This project demonstrates that Asbestus can provide standalone asbestos roof removal services as well as complete removal-and-replacement roofing packages. 

Works included: asbestos cement roof removal, controlled handling and loading of asbestos waste, compliant transportation and disposal, waste documentation, and coordination across multiple buildings.
