Agricultural Asbestos Roof Replacement – Isle of Mull

Anticon Box Profile Steel Roofing 

An agricultural building on the Isle of Mull required a complete roof upgrade, replacing the ageing existing roof with a modern steel roofing system suitable for the exposed Scottish environment. 

Asbestus installed a new box profile steel roof with Anticon condensation-control backing, providing a durable and practical solution while helping to manage condensation on the underside of the roof sheets. 

The project also demonstrates our ability to deliver roofing works in remote and island locations across Scotland, coordinating materials, labour and site logistics from start to finish.

Works included: removal of the existing asbestos roof covering, Anticon-backed box profile steel roofing, installation of new timber purlins, new rooflights, ridge and associated flashings and finishing works.
