Big 6 Fibre Cement Roof & New Rooflights

This agricultural building in Ayrshire required a complete roof replacement while retaining its existing concrete structure and purlins. 

Asbestus installed a new Big 6 fibre cement roofing system, securely fixed to the existing concrete purlins using J-hook fixings. Additional rooflights were incorporated into the new roof to increase the amount of natural daylight entering the building.

The fibre cement system provides a robust, practical roofing solution particularly well suited to agricultural environments. 

Works included: removal of the existing roof covering, new Big 6 fibre cement sheets, J-hook fixing system, additional rooflights, ridge details and associated roofing works.
